You Don't Have a Daughter

Yeah. So after fighting with our new template code for years months weeks days a few hours while we drank tea, our good buddies at Blogger have decided to add by default everyone's favorite tag: "Continue Reading."


So, dear readers, I'm sure this may not mean much to all of you, but For the past few days we've been working with how to make this blog more accessible. Now we've got a new look, new semi-regular topics, new tags, and yes, I do have a new haircut. However, our greatest battle over the last few days has been attempting to add a "Read More" tag into our blog posts. While it was supposed to work by default with the new template, our limited experience in writing code (read: none) did not help the matter of this minor detail not working properly. We searched for help, but this was new territory for us, so it didn't quite pan out well.

Just when we were ready to give up, guess who came through in the eleventh hour with our solution? Why, Blogger themselves! Who woulda thunk it? (side note: My browser's automatic spell check didn't catch "thunk." Who'da thunk that was a real word?) So all is well. Hopefully this will solve another small problem that we were foreseeing in the future. The future being when you, dear readers, actually exist. Drive on!
